Why Fiverr is a great way to get started online
I have first found out about Fiverr 1,5 years ago when I was searching for an affordable freelancer who I needed to get some work on my e-commerce website done for me. I instantly liked this marketplace a lot because no matter what service you are looking for, you can find someone to do the job. There are so many people offering the same services that I was quite overwhelmed about how I should make my decision about which seller to choose.
Besides the high competition on Fiverr, the low prizes but comparably high-quality services stood out knowing that for most of these services I would have to pay 5x that prize outside of Fiverr.
After having used Fiverr as a buyer for a couple of months I was looking for a new stream of income online and I thought to myself why not make 200 dollars per month on the side with Fiverr…yeah the prizes are quite low and YEAH the competition is HUGE but why not give it a try and figure out how to make money on Fiverr.
I started to do research and after a while, I figured out that due to the low prices I would have to do something that doesn´t require a lot of time – so I began to look out for tools that would be easy to use so I could deliver decent work in no time…that´s when I ran into an ebook creation software that enables you to create professional-looking ebook covers and ebook layout designs using high- quality editable templates (check out the ebook creator here). Alright this first issue seemed to be solved but how would I be able to make money on Fiverr considering the fact that there are thousands of other people trying to sell ebook covers as well and the ones on the first page of Fiverr have already worked there for years receiving daily new 5 star ratings – it seemed to be impossible to earn even 5 dollars on Fiverr anytime soon. However, I really wanted to make these 200 dollars a month on Fiverr so I spent the next 4-6 weeks trying to understand how I could rank my gig on the first page of Fiverr…
Then I eventually created my first Fiverr gig, I implemented everything that I have found out in the previous weeks…my big mistake was that I expected immediate results and sales BUT no one texted me, no one contacted me and I gave up because I thought this would never work out.
Three weeks later though when checking my Fiverr account I couldn´t believe my own eyes seeing that a couple of hours earlier someone had really ordered my ebook cover gig. The value of my first Fiverr sale ever was only $15 but I was more than excited that I had eventually managed to be found on Fiverr…
Now 10 months later, I have gained a lot of experience as a Fiverr seller. All of my current 11 gigs are ranking, I have realized that you can earn much more than 200 dollars per month and sell your services for hundreds and even thousands of dollars. Altogether I have now sold more than 200 gigs making over 20.000 dollars.

So, as a conclusion, making money on Fiverr definitely works, it can be a solid side hustle but you can also scale it up and make some really good money on the platform. No matter if you already have any skills or you are a complete beginner, you can make money on Fiverr.
